Why does everyone make excuses for why some one lost the fight. I think corrales lost cause he got KTFO. Not because Castillo weighed more. He fought a fan Friendly fight, but not a smart tactical fight.

Their is no way of knowing what would have happened if he fought differently. No point in trying to act like we know. All we can do is wait for there next fight. Quit making excuses.

This happens every hyped fight. Someone's fighter loses, so they come on here making up shyt about why they lost. Even the fighters camps are guilty. Wlad was drugged, Samuel was sick, Etc...... SHUT UP ALREADY.

Corrales fans should follow suit with Diego Corrales himself. After the fight, he made sure that he gave all credit to Castillo. He didnt even try to use the weight as an excuse. The whole interview was him making sure that there was no excuses on his behalf.

If this man! The man that just got Knocked, does not give any excuses.

I agree, great post. No need to make excuses, just accept the result.

I thought it was a very exciting fight. Diego himself didn't want to say that the weight thing was the reason he lost. He simply said "I got hit with a great punch." If Chico himself doesn't need to give excuses, I don't think anyone does. It was a highly entertaining fight and I can't wait for the 3rd one.

Diego showed great character after the fight and didn't complain or whine. He took it like a man and gave all credit to Castillo. I thought both men gave it their all and both men deserve to be praised for their efforts.

The funny thing about that is how hard Gray was working to get an excuse out of Corrales. Apparently he's a complete joke in the sports world. I wish Toney had smacked him.
