Uhh, I'd have to watch again - man was getting too excited here, LOL. But I thought Zab was legitimately hurt by the bodyshot and poor dude tried to save face after by calling it a low-blow. Not sure if he quit, I'll have a look at the video before I agree/disagree with anyone.

It felt in one sense like a 50/50 fight, because of the left-handed threat Zab brings, but the su****ion was that Khan was always going to in-out stalk him and batter him to a mid-late stoppage - Judah just couldn't time Amir for a real big left, Khan was too dynamic in his ambushes and Zab was too intimidated by the combination handspeed to go the route of taking risks and trying to exchange. And he certainly couldn't lead the fight. People talked about the uppercut, but I didn't see that being a key shot for Zab, because he needs guys with slower feet than Khan to walk onto it. He needed his left cross to land, but didn't have a way to get it home. People will say that Amir was flattered by Zab's style, but I thought he looked excellent and that it was his high performance level that made a stern test look like cake.
Watching live I could sense early into the count that Zab wasn't going to get up from that KD - watching the video back doesn't do anything to change my initial thought that he was too hurt by the punch to rise.
He called it a nut-shot to save face, but he didn't quit - the punch crippled him.

Watch the fight. The shot wasn't on the balls. It was a legit bodyshot KO for the talented, brave, strong, proud, good-spirited ******.
We know Brandon's a tough guy. But that's entirely irrelevant to this convo and no justification for you keeping his schmekel in your mouth 24/7, besides.
Now shush that mush, son. Nighty night.

Rewatching the fight, and after Khan starts dominating, all I hear is Emanuel Steward and Jim Lampley talking about how Khan has this massive weight advantage, and how Khan is using it to wear Judah out. Umm....huh? Khan only weighed 1 more whole pound than Judah fight night, WTF were they on about?
I guess after ol' Stewy hyped up Judah pre-fight, he needed a way out...just like Zab. :giggle:
