Let's be honest, had Chisora come in any kind of shape for this fight, he'd have won by a country mile!

What are you on about, the real shots in this fight were thrown by Chisora!

I thought Fury looked decent tonight. He controlled the pace of the fight, used his height and reach and hit Derick at will. Fury had a scary couple of moments in the 2nd round as Chisora went on the attack but for the most part he dominated most of the fight. For his 15th pro fight it was a good win against a quality name opponent, even though Chisora was in awful shape.

Obviously Fury is not at the the world class level (yet) but he I'd say he matches up against some of the top 20 guys and is a contender as of now. He'd match up well against someone like Dimitrenko, Rahman (he was scheduled earlier this year to fight him), Ustinov, et al...

fury looked pretty good, maybe should use his range and get full reach on his punches more and use straight 1 2 combos setting up the right hand.
he looks like he got a chin, his gypsy spirit is alive and well!.

hes still a bit slow and defensively has room to improve. he should keep range more, move back and create space more, not stiffle his reach and power.

ide quite like to see him improve some more then fight like he did, inside fight wlad or vitali, see how klits do on skill alone with size/weight advantage taken from them.

i think price vs fury will be next, and price seems more techincal, but not to sure about his chin.

ide love to see price and fury both improve massively then have:

price vs wladimir and fury vs vitali.

maybe the price/fury winner should fight helanius or even haye before getting a k bro?.

Chisora is too short for a heavyweight, he can't get past a long jab without getting tied up. Tyson, to his credit, used his reach, even if he did look clumsy. He stuck to his plan; jab, straight right, bear hug. He'll improve with experience, how much is up to him.

And people (you know who you are) were saying Chisora had a good chance of beating Wlad when they had that fight signed. Silly homers...

Fury is improving and it was a good win for him today, but it would be a mistake for him to fight Wlad this year. He's much too inexperienced.

First, during the next 18 months, he should fight a few people like Audley Harrison, Dominick Guinn, Maurice Harris, Michael Grant, Ray Austin, Franklin Lawrence, Albert Sosnowski, Martin Rogan, Alexander Ustinov, or Hasim Rahman.

Then in 2013 step up and fight a better HW like Mike Perez or Robert Helenius, then if he wins, go for a world title shot.

Most entertaining HW fight I have seen in quite a while, Fury has a way to go before he is ready to fight at world level but he showed some good things last night and is a fair bit better than he gets rated in this forum.

A scrap with Price looks very interesting.
