And they say boxing is dead.

Boxing already has a one million + PPV in the books for the year; Mosley VS Pacquiao.

Mayweather/Ortiz and Pacquiao/Marquez III will most likely top the one million PPV buys mark.

The only tricky one is Cotto/Margarito II, but with the hype it will create before the fight it may very well reach one millions buys.

Not saying this is any indicator of boxing's success but it's still an astounding feat for a sport many claim is dying.

boxing globally is the second biggest sport in the world. The only people who say boxing is dying are people in america. Cotto vs. Margarito II is only going to do like 550k

Totally agree with you my man, I'm even writing my English paper on that issue lol

But you really think Cotto/Margs only does 550k? The first one did around that with little hype, add in the revenge/redemption/cheating backstory and the fact both did great numbers with Pacquiao individually and you got some huge numbers coming in. Maybe not one million but at least 800k.

GTFOH with that sh.it man, always trying to say some slick stuff but come off looking like a moron. Only people who watch NASCAR are inbred hicks

Just watch the Mexican sports channel and see how much they cover boxing, only sport they cover more is soccer.

Boxing will never die!! I was able to get Angelo Dundee's autograph this past thursday and had a 5-10 minute talk with him and he told told me boxing needs us fans. He said there isnt too many fans left. He told me the sport is dying.
