Comments Thread For: CompuBox Comparison: Amir Khan vs. Zab Judah

CompuBox taks a look at the stats for the last four fights involving junior welterweight champions Amir Khan and Zab Judah, who clash later tonight at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Khan was the busier fighter and landed eight more punches per round. The economical Judah landed 51% of his power punches, but threw 36% less than the weight class average. Khan's bread and butter is the jab, but Judah's opponents have only landed 11% of their jabs against him.

No surprise here Zab is very reserve now but he lands 50% of his power punches an it only takes one to get Khan outta there, Zab by KO or Khan by decision

This is why Judah is the underdog. Khan is such a busy-body, but I don't believe he'll be throwing as much as he usually does cuz he'll be wary of Zab's ability to counter effectively. He won't be landing as much either, assuming that "Super" Judah comes to fight.
