This I agree with. If anything, Floyd is trading down some PPV buys, BUT they should be partially offset by closed circuit buys. I'm SURE that Haymon worked out a higher "commission" rate on PPV's to account for that.

Will this fight also be available in theatres?

I believe it will be in some theaters, this is becoming standard on big ppv's.

Canelo has got to be the biggest draw to fight on a ppv undercard at this point in his career. I know a bunch of dudes fought on udercards but not guus who were headlining multiple hbo shows and selling out stadiums.

This is a good thing. It gives Canelo more exposure.

Please consider all the promotion Canelo gets leading up to the event. More than he's ever had.

The LA media day should be crazy.

I think this is a great move for Canelo, personally as someone from the UK I would buy this if it wasn't likely to be free on SKY anyway.

This is actually a generous move by Mayweather. He loses all the PPV buys of everyone who watches Canelo live at Staples.

                  Yes, he does.

But knowing Team Mayweather, they negotiated a cut of Canelo's gate.

If you thought of it, Al Haymon did as well.

It wouldn't really make sense for Canelo to burn a good fight on Floyd's undercard. Save the good fights for when he is headlining.
