And he's had about 4 different trainers in his head.
Re-watching Dawson vs Adamek. Chad was a beast.

Chad vs B-Hop is an intriguing match-up because for the first time Chad is fighting a pure boxer. Most of Dawson's opponents have been sluggers and punchers. Chad is also a pure boxer. That's before chad got on easy street and earned all that undeserved hbo dough that his tv deal seeking fat suck a$$ promoter shaw got him.
Chad dont have it any more and bhop is gonna decision him and smack him around a little bit on the way.
Chad needs the right type of opponent to look good, and bhop aint the one. There's reasons why no one goes to see his fights- he's excruciating if someone doesnt make the fight and his promoter is garbage.
If B-Hop isn't the type of opponent Dawson wants, than why has B-Hop been avoiding him for years? Granted the criticism of Dawson is well deserved because Dawson has looked lackluster in his last two fights. But Dawson has looked from bad to good numerous times, for example in 2008 when he fought Glen Johnson than Antonio Tarver.
Chad is a hard-worker, and you can bet Steward is correcting his mistakes. Steward just needs to understand Chad what works best for him, and trying to make a Chad a puncher doesn't work.
The old Bad Chad will return Oct 15, and my prediction is Dawson will give Hopkins a boxing lesson.Last edited by Boxingwizard; 07-23-2011, 04:25 PM.Comment
