It's really simple.Marquez is the more skillful boxer. But that doesn't translate over weightclasses.Pacman is able to carry weight better than Marquez is.Having the fight at welterweight is comfortable for Pacman, buthorrible for Marquez. His skill & reflexes, his speed & everything else diminish at that weight.
JMM and MP are the even? Or is something up?

I'd say the real hype is that the fight will be competitive at all. The weight is an issue but also JMM is way past his best. Im getting a bit sick of these "legend fights" which have mostly been anti-climax. Its getting like EA Fight Night around here lolComment

It's really quite simple.I dont know much about boxing so someone please explain without sarcasm.
We all know how even JMM and MP were in there two fights. We know it was no luck on one side or the other because there were two fights.
Usually we can see a decline in a fighters career (such as Cotto or PW)Now after there two fights I saw no declination in JMM and we seen a "skyrocket" in MP.
2004 then four years later 2008 JMM and MP the same (still even).
Now I hear fans of MP say the reason he got better was technique, does this mean MP's technique is better than JMM (Im pretty sure no one thinks that) JMM is a far superior boxer.
After fighting Pac, JMM has wins over Casamayor, 2 over Juan Diaz, Katz, Rocky, Jaca (point is he was even fighting young lions and still winning).
If Pac blows JMM out easily, explain to me how this happens.
Marquez is now basically 40 years old, well past his best (he was just starting to slide in the rematch against Pac at 34 years old), moving up two divisions to fight a guy in his peak years and who is now a true 147 pound fighter who carries the weight as if he was a natural 147 guy.
As has been talked about over and over, Pac has always been coming in as a welter for years and years now. Marquez is a natural featherweight and doesn't carry anything more than 135 well.
It's as simple as 1) age: advantage Pac 2) their respective primes: advantage Pac and 3) weight division: advantage Pac.
Unlike when they last fought twice, at weights where both were comfortable at, Pac has been fighting comfortably at 147 for years now with many fights under his belt there against real welters. Marquez had one brief foray at this weight, and looked fat, old, slow and ****. The fact is, this fight is designed to make Marquez look bad and Pac good.....a bit like all of his fights recently. Old guy, past his best but still a big name, pulling weird weight advantages.
I don't know whether he'll blow him out or not but Marquez won't win. He's not near his best anymore whereas Pac still is in his peak years. It doesn't have anything to do with Pac getting much better. It's much, much more to do with him still being at his best at a comfortable weight, while Marquez is not at his best, not really very close to it anymore either sadly, and having to move up again to a terrible weight for him.Comment

Yes, and those two fights were 7 and 4 years ago respectively. When Marquez was 29 and 34 or something. He will now be closing in on 40 and well, well past his best fighting days at a terrible weight for him in which he's had one fight at, losing every single round and looking slow, old, easy to hit and fat in comparison to his 126/130 days.
There you go. Something like that.Comment

1. They're fighting at a higher weight. To be precise 2 weight classes above JMM's normal weight class.
2. Manny Pacquiao is younger and Prime
3. JMM is showing his age.
4. IMO JMM gets pushed around at the Lightweight division and relies on pure skills.
5. JMM's best days were in the Featherweight, weight class which is 4 Weight classes below Welterweight
6. JMM will be a bloated Welterweight with a loss of speed and reflexes which he needs to counter punch.
7. Manny Pacquiao is a full Welterweight that has fought at Junior Middle weight (with a catch weight)
8. JMM gets knocked down fairly often. This is going to be a very big problem because he got knocked down x4 against Pacquiao in their previous 2 fights, when JMM was younger and had all of his reflexes. Now that Pacquiao is much stronger, JMM is expected to get KO'd.
I know it sounds very repetitive but I listed them for different reasons
JMM is supposed to get stopped this fight. I don't believe he will and i'm willing to put my points on it.
