No, because you are overvaluing Khans popularity in America. If Zab beats Khan tonight and faces Manny it will outdraw Khan/Manny(if khan was to win). As for an investment, you could be right but Khan won't go much further than he has gotten to this point.
Of course it will because Zab is the household name. Oh and why do you think he won't go further? He hasn't beaten a big name yet, so how do you know? This is all an investment. Khan right now is the good looking pretty boy just like DLH was. The only thing Khan is missing is that big marquee name on his resume, and that name is Zab Judah. Zab Judah is the one trending because HBO hyped him as the "Rebirth" Judah. They want YOU to think Zab is a beast right now so that if Khan wins it's a HUGE win.

I suggest taking some business classes.
What, like a marketing class? That's what you mean right, since they are trying to market Zab as a beast to propel Khan to another level but no, HBO isn't marketing Zab that way at all and wasn't even my point. Zab is an afterthought but the American public is more interested in seeing him as you can tell by the way it's trending in America. HBO once again will have egg on their face, like they always do when Khan steps up and ends up getting blasted out.
BTW, I know Khan won't go any further because I've seen all his fights. Sloppy footwork and bad chin=no future. Saying he's being promoted like DLH is crap. DLH in his younger years was one of the most promising fighters that we have seen in decades. DLH V Chavez was skills beyond Khans wildest dreams.

I'm pretty sure that Marco Antonio Barrera is a bigger name than Judah will ever be....to Americans or elsewhere.

Khans not as good as you guys think, and certainly not a name over here. He is not being set up like other investments in HBO boxing history. Even in recent history a guy like Andre Berto who was being groomed by HBO had much more lucrative deals and easier fights to boot.

I wasn't on about that
I was on about your comment about him getting blasted out every time he steps up
Every time he has stepped up he has won - so that makes your statement null and void (Prescott to me wasn't really a step up)

Regardless of where I feel Khan will end his career it doesn't change the premise of my debate. My whole argument is that the American public is more interested in seeing if Zab is on his comeback trail, not if Khan can pass the next "test".
The only reason HBO would be rooting for Khan right now is because they cut him a contract and don't want to look like fools. If they had no deal on the table they would certainly be wanting Judah to win tonight.
