It was a good shot. Clean left hook. The fight was stopped when it should have been. Corrales got destroyed tonight. The fact still remains that Castillo was unprofessional and undeserving for the belts. He had an edge tonight, nobody can contradict that.

I don't think the weight changed the outcome. Castillo was sharp tonight.

However, he failed to follow the rules and that's a fact, not opinion. We know everybody drains down to make the weight, and fights 10 to 15 lbs above. So what, the rules are same for everyone.

Castillo could have been world champion tonight but isn't because he screwed up. He lost 10% of his purse, and was unprofessional. That's that.

By the way, it's raining cats and dogs here and my satellite feed went out for the fight. It came back just as they were interviewing Corrales in the ring after the fight. That was a sweet $50 spent - NOT!

Castillo came well rested, dodged punches and landed a perfect left hook. That what determined the outcome of the fight.

The difference tonight was that Corrales was really HURT by a punch. He was a little stunned, but never really hurt by either KD in the last fight.
The short left hook tomight was a thing of beauty that really HURT him. That was the difference.
I dont think anyone can say for sure if he would have been able to continue tonight if given the same 30 secs to recover...that was my point. He seems to have trouble taking a good punch, but no trouble getting back up...with an additional 20 secs (like last time) he probably would have gotten right back up.
btw, unfair statement is saying that castillo cheated tonight...not my statement.

If Castilla can ***** to the WBC for a ematch, than fight a non title fight two divsions up from the orginal in under one day, than boxing is ****....he needs to fight at 147 now, or something, it just isnt right..

Castillo is everything you want from a fighter. Comes back against a loss, and KO's his opponent. That's what you do.

At the end of the day, boxing is a sport for MEN, not girls. You really think the 5 pound difference come FIGHT TIME really made a difference? It was a ONE punch KO, and the weight is all water. Corrales just got outclassed. Can we say Gatti?

I wish he would have been discipline enough to come in at right weight.

And props to Corrales for taking this fight.
