the toughest boxer on this guy's resume is Jesse Brinkley!!! Come on now! He shouldn't be calling anybody out! Martinez would eat this guy alive. He should try calling out Chavez jr.

Nah, he's just a threat to his heavenly father Pac. All *******s react the same way when another fighter is a potential threat to their god. They talk ****. It's all they can do.

Then you have guys like The Smash who is probably just Mushahadeen in diguise. Talking that same Chavez Jr. bs like he's some kind of world beater. Even though deep down he knows little Jr. would get the living **** beat out him by Sergio. He must feel pretty safe talking smack since he know Arum and co. would never sacrifice Jr. to the real middleweight champion.

Martinez is gonna become a bicycle repairman after he retires because hes never sold a single PPV in his life and most people don't know who the **** he is.
DAMN thats the funniest thing I've heard yet, a bicycle repair man I think he's made about 3 or 4 million so far since being w/HBO.

This Quillin guy again? He's making fun of Martinez fighting Barker? Quillin if fighting against Jason LeHoullier, a guy with 5 consecutive loses, one of them by KO by Chavez Jr (that should tell you everything about LeHoullier) ...

Fighting the best makes who "Kid Chocolate" is? Damn...

Of course Sergio cares if he wins... he just wants to make good money while doing it. Martinez is nearing the end of his career, and is a deserving & legitimate Champion. Although I don't personally believe he should fight Pacquiao, you can't blame the man for wanting to get paid the big bucks. However, for Quillin to say Martinez probably doesn't even care if he wins, that's just ludicrous!

It is amazing the amount of obtuse posts you see here... case in point.

It is kinda ****** to tell you the truth that he is dissing a guy who has beaten fought the legit champ at 160, a guy who no one wanted fight a while back and knocked him the f out, and another guy who no one in their right mind wants to fight at 154....

while I would tell Quillin to open his mouth when he beats someone credible, I don't see any big names on Darren Barker's resume. Enough people want to get in the ring with Sergio for him not to have to take these stay busy type fights.

Quilin trash-talking Martinez is ******, considering the fact that Quilin's next opponent is a guy who hasn't won any of his last six fights. Who is Quilin anyway?

well to be honest, most of the top middleweights don't ever fight in the US, some just once. i'm sure martinez will have to face a top 10 MW in his next fight if he wants to stay relevant. that said, i'm sure quillin will be unavoidable to any MW if he end's up taking a huge challenge like pirog or golovkin, that would make things real interesting. barker's a natural middleweight who is there to try and steal martinez's crown (so he says), quillin needs to move to MW if he wants MW fights, simple as that.
