I think Vargas would make it tough, but he did like to fight more than actually Box. Martinez being southpaw along with his overall movement and speed, he gives Vargas the business.

Yeah,apart from the absolute fact that Vargas isn't a "come forward pressure fighter".Mind you,I wouldn't expect somebody who clearly hasn't seen much of his pre-Trinidad fights to know any better - don't worry,you're not the only one.

Lets be honest, Martinez had a good year but the level of fighters he has beat is no where near what vargas faced. Martinez was losing against a very good Pavlik, and he KOed williams and Dzirk. Good, but far from great.

But at 154, Oscar beat Vargas who was still in his prime(He was past his prime once he fought Mosley).
