i wonder if floyds body growing older and heavier and thicker means he cant be as slick as he once was,meaning he will now come forward,time people and back them up with sharp pot shots then slip out of range and repeat,instead of him moving back and suckering them into his counters.

I dont think so, although that is not out of the question for this upcoming fight, or future fights for that matter.

He was flat-footed early against Shane, and then reverted to movement from the start of round 3, if you were correct, then it would have been the other way around.

IMHO that was part of the gameplan to negate Mosley's strengths, and to enable Mayweather to take control of the distance early in the fight so that it quickly became a boxing match. The sooner that it became a contest of skills, the sooner that Mayweather could start racking up the rounds.

He just overplayed his hand, he had already established the perimeter, and he already knew that Shane was not going to try to walk through his punches. IMHO Mayweather made a mistake by continuing to fight flat-footed with Shane, he should have been boxing Mosley from the start of round 2.

But it will be interesting to see what approach he takes with Ortiz.

Mayweather will not want to allow Ortiz to get too comfortable on the front foot either.

Floyd looks kinda soft. He might be in trouble this fight. I like both guys. I just hope Ortiz isnt juicin.
