Floyd never lost a round vs De la Hoya

I remember giving De la Hoya 4 rounds in that fight.
It was mainly based on the fact that in some rounds, he was more active than Floyd.
Not a close fight though, Mayweather clearly won.Comment

Right, floyd never lost a round (despite a split decision)
What else? Floyd has never been knocked down (except that glove by Judah)
What else? Floyd has never lost a fight (bronze in the olyimpics and castillo0
What else? Floyd has never dodged a fight (except Cotto, Margarito, Pacquiao)
Damn that Floyd kool-aid is tasty.Comment

This is the most important point of the thread.
And frankly, even if Floyd won every round, it was against an inactive, old version of Oscar that hadn't been a full time fighter in years.
Floyd beat GBP Oscar, nothing close to a prime Oscar. It's a weak win no matter how you look at it.
Just like most of Floyds hollow wins.Comment

IMHO, I watched the fight 5X and I gave 7 rounds to Oscar.

he did not win 12 rounds, but he won the fight comfortable.
Haven't gone back to see that mess in a while but i think i had floyd winning 8 or 9 rounds.Comment

About 95% of boxing fans have no clue how to score fights~ that goes to about 100% if you are talking people who rarely watch boxing like the audience of Oscar-Floyd.
With such an open ended scoring system that has a ton of gray area it is no wonder fights are not scored to the liking of most~Comment
