Why isnt there any good Canadian born Boxers???

Every time I see a card on TV that's in Canada the place is packed to the gills!
Seems like Boxing is pretty big up there. Why aren't they any ELITE world-class Canadian boxers???

they all play hockey. hockey is probably bigger in canada than basketball and football combined in the states (%-wise).

No, its because our Amateur program is ******ed, and when one of your best trainers is a ****** in Russ Anber you know your country is screwed.

as someone living in biggest city in canada who goes to 60% of Pro boxing shows here its like this

        1) ******ed Judges
        2) ******ed Promoters

The only good place is Montreal that is producing some decent fighters (most who arent even canadian but just live there, ie Bute,Pascal.

We have some good Amateur's but their careers go nowhere because lack of promoters/fights.

I know a few undefeated boxers who are at CW/LHW and they werent able to get any fights at Amateur because nobody wanted to fight them so they had to turn pro with like 20 amateur fights in 3 years, thats how sparse it is.

We need more funding for the Amateur program, better promoters, a better commission that actually knows what Boxing is.

but yea, pro-tip to Pro fighters: dont fight in Canada because you will get robbed since our judges are the biggest ******s on earth, I was ringside for the Neven Pajkic vs Raphael Butler fight and I had the fight a Draw. and I was giving Neven the benefit of the doubt with the close rounds, but Butler shouldve won by a big margin.

        When score cards were read?
        Alan Davis 97-93
        Harry Davis 99-91
        Kelly Zolnierczyk 97-93

All for Neven, I was only person booing and ppl were like "yea he won big time" wtf?

Canadians only fight in Hockey. Haven't you seen their fist fights, where they end up with missing teeth?
