Who has/had the better chin Shane Mosley or Antonio Margarito?

NO way. This is Mosley easy to me. Margarito's chin is beast. He takes alot of clean shots but because of his style, they arent full shots. Take for example the Cotto fight. Cotto landed big but he never fully commited to any punch because he had to soon be in retreat thereafter and thats the same for 99% of his opponents.

Watch Cotto fight a normal guy. He will dig his shot into you. He didnt dig any shot into Margarito because he didnt want to get punished. I think Mosley takes more shots were guys get to fully unload on him because of his style.

Thats why you saw a Mosley take Margarito out in only 7 rounds because he was one of the only guys to ever dig in and commit to his punches against Margarito. Then he would tie him up so there could be no return. No one else has ever really done that, atleast not on a consisent basis

Throughout his career, Shane proved he could take a punch. However, he never took the bombs Tony would walk right through. It is a fact that fighters who were able to land on Mosley were able to put him down, ala Forrest and Pac. If Winky and Floyd had more pop they would have put him down as well. Who had the better chin? Tony.. Who played the cards they were dealt best? That's a toss up.

Margarito has taken three beatings, two as bad as you will see in boxing, in his last four fights. He takes it like a freaking champ.

Margarito's chin, unless Pacquiao f***ed it up, is as reliable as a chin can get in boxing.

Margarito easily when you consider how often he is hit on the chin compared to Shane.

Although I would say Margarito, people shouldnt compare their chins based on the fights with Pacquaio....Mosely was 39 in that fight, while Margarito fought Pac at 32 years

also, it is very difficult to say whether both fighters were hit with the same force or not...
