No sooner had it been suggested, David Santos ( petty champion ) ruled out any chance of this fight happening. He stated:
"Oscar is a true champion, real class, i know i don't stand a chance against him. I don`t want to lose my belt as its the only thing i have in boxing. i'll have to hope he doesn`t become my mandatory, i'll have to move up in weight!".
Santos is said to be searching for a new opponent, one coming off hopefully a brutal KO defeat.
In finishing Santos had this to say to his fans.
"I'm at my peak, my next opponent, this TBA guy, he`s in allot of trouble, he fears my pat pat jab and the glass smashing from my chin!".
santos sounds like hes got a confidence problem...
