One of the subplots of the intriguing Corrales-Castillo weigh-in yesterday was an attempt to tamper with the scale by Castillo's physician Armando Barak. Barak was caught in the act by Nevada State Athletic Commission Executive Director Marc Ratner. "On the second try I saw one of his cornerpeople putting his foot underneath the scale trying to lift it up, to cheat," Ratner told *********.com. "I have temporarily suspended the doctor/cornerman, who cannot work the corner, be in the ring with him or the dressing room. After that it goes to the full commission." When asked if he has ever seen anyone tamper with the scale in this way before, Ratner stated, "No. Not that I've seen. Things happen, but I haven't seen it. I caught him red-footed," he added.
