the real question about this fight is who do you think wouldve won if Vargas just kept boxing. He said that after he got dropped like that, even though he came back to do very well, drop Tito, & maybe even take the lead, he always just had a mental feeling that he had to catchup because he had been dropped & behind. I think if he wouldve just steadied himself and kept boxing then he may have won that fight but instead he went to war and very few guys would beat a prime Tito in a warComment

and you could tell the damage it did.....Vargas was truly hurt......you can see it in his face.......to think he came back to fight from that hellecious first round.....and score a good knock down of his own in the 4th is just ridiculous........great great over all fight......Comment

My fingers are sore from posting the following:
The fight is one of the best fights ever. Reasons being:
Puerto Rico-Mexico rivalry
Genuine animosity between them
Both fighters were young
Both fighters were champions
Both fighters were undefeated
Both fighters had HUGE punching power
Both fighters were down in the fight
Both fighters were deducted points for low blows
Dramatic opening first round
Dramatic last round TKO
THAT...FIGHT...IS...AWESOME.Comment
