Both. I've seen Resto talk about how they not only took the padding out, but put plaster of Paris in there too. He said they had done it a couple times before.

The documentary may have portrayed him in a sympathetic light,but Luis Resto is a grown man capable of making his own decisions,and he was the one who was actually inside that ring,battering his opponent and causing him physical harm with these tampered gloves.



Luis Resto wasn't a victim in any way.
