I think they say they were training for strength, not exactly for power. From what I remember I think they said they wanted Khan to be stronger while keeping most of his speed.

Team Roach is pro enough to make Khan in top condition come fight day. Khan via unanimous on late rounds.

Roach knows all about weight draining etc. He is the king of that subject so he will be on top of any issues. I dont think Khan will fail to make weight. His camp are too professional but I agree he does look fleshy and massive for the weight class. I cant believe a guy with his frame shared a ring with Barrera who started in 1989 at flyweight. . . .and Khan still couldnt hurt him after 5 rounds of hitting an old, blinded opponent!

I reckon he is a more mature fighter now though and he has physically improved so if he nails Judah right he will go as he has in the past.

I really think Amir Khan is gonna be pretty fat when he retires. You can tell, it's just in his genes. I think he's in the best shape he can be, but still doesn't seem that ripped.

Khan was much mire ripped before Ariza and Freddie. Under his old team they would make his top body toned, but his legs thin. Probably not that good for taking shots.
He has excess fat on him for sure, but that's not a bad thing, his chin was bad when he was that toned, obviously not enough water or something in him.

Khan has said many times that he NEVER weighs much more than 150lbs when walking around.
Making weight is easy for him.

So what? Pacquiao started as a Jr Flyweight, but he still beats up top Welterweights now. What someone started as in their teens is completely irrelevant.
