Golovkin isn't allowed to fight on American television yet do to contract issues and the other top two middleweights, Sturm and Geale, are ducking Martinez. I haven't even heard this guy before he started running his mouth. There's no more reason for Martinez to be fighting Quillin than there is to be fighting Barker. I mean, especially because Quillin called out Martinez AFTER the fight with Barker was already made.

Anyway, Golovkin is a jr middleweight at most. He claims to walk at 160lb. The only reason he gets away with fighting at middleweight is because he's been fighting weak opposition in his professional career. Besides his now irrelevant amateur fights and mythical sparring sessions, he hasn't done much. He's too small. Martinez would destroy him.

Yeah I read it, and Quillin is not a full fledged middleweight, he's still a super middleweight. Yeah, maybe just by 3 or 4 pounds, but still a super middleweight.
