Umm...Did you actually watch the Cotto vs Mayorga fight? If you call, Cotto outboxing a tentative Mayorga who never really committed to any punches competitive, than I guess you're right. It looked to me that he won majority of the rounds quite easy and finished with solid power in the 12th. I guess with your logic Margs vs Roberto friggin Garcia was competitive since it went the full 10.

If you've seen Margs since the Mosley fight, he does not have that bad ass demeanor and self confidence. He looks as if he questions himself and doesn't believe in his power like he did pre-Mosley. Margarito is a spent fighter with nothing left in the tank, too many memorable wars.

Ha nothing against Cotto though he was a warrior at the lower weights, but once Margaritos pressure gets to him he is gonna be on his backfoot the entire night and either get stopped or run til he loses a UD. Cotto didnt impress at all against Mayorga and if he couldnt hurt Marg at 147 he isnt going to do much to him at 154 especially with 10 oz gloves. Plaster or not Margs got Cottos # and I really dont think he used plaster in the first fight because Cotto wouldnt be able to fight right now if that were the case.
