I'd love to see another British champion but everybody knows Barker is going to take a horrible beating here.

Wow, since most people on this site have never heard of Darren Barker that automatically makes him a bum, I personally don't think Barker will beat Sergio but i have no doubt he will come to fight and give everything, i wouldn't even be surprised if the fight went the whole twelve and was competitive throughout,
ok this is a massive step up for barker but that does not mean he is not capable, i can assure you one thing Barker will be a hell of a lot more competitive than JCC Jr would and Matthew Macklin for that matter.

Out of his 23 wins, 10 have been against fighters with losing records.
But yea, this guy is amazing, he needs to come in humble, dont start BARKING when you are a NOBODY and fought NOBODIES WHO HAVE LOST MORE THAN THEY WON.

and i never came out boasting like he was going to knock Sergio out the point i was trying to get across was that i think Barker will give a good account of himself and most the posters on here are slagging him of and calling him bum simply cause they have never heard of him.

Your win-loss argument is invalid against a guy with only 23 fights, especially when they're from the UK. Prospects over here are put in with guys who are the blood of British boxing, journeymen with over a 100 fights who know all the tricks to survive and make the fight as awkward as possible.
He's fought guys with records like,
12-83-4
20-73-4
17-67-4
27-47-2
Stop being a BoxRec warrior, it makes you look a dumb ****. Watch his fights, then come back and talk about him.
SRR ain't the greatest, he's got 19 losses! Derp Derp
