Excuses are for *******. Champions win and comply with their obligations. That's why you're called a pro buddy, pro meaning PROFESSIONAL. It's not just some mere title over your head. It entails certain responsibilities.

One of them is the MINIMUM requirement of making weight. If a fighter can't even comply with that, hell! What's the use of rules. We might just as well throw the **** out.

I think some people are forgetting that it gets harder and harder to make weight as you get older and eventually you can't do it anymore without seriously hurting yourself. Most fighters are fighting below their natural weights nowadays, and eventually they have to move up. Castillo is no different. I'm sure he tried very hard to make weight, and obviously couldn't do it. Now, you can call him unprofessional, or you can just realize that his days at 135 are over and he's going to be fighting at 140 from now on. He did screw up, and he should pay for that mistake. But to call him a cheater? Come on. We know Corrales is going to be bloated up tonight. He just happened to be luckier and was able to weight drain himself enough for the weigh-in.
