My worry for Froch is he has enjoyed a bit of success all out boxing rather than boxing & fighting. He boxed Abraham away perfectly and tried the same against Johnson and it just about worked OK, if he thinks that is the way to go again against Ward then I'm worried as I rate Ward the better boxer and Froch will be punching air and look terrible.

Ward sounds dangerous right now. It's scary how tough he is mentally at this stage in his career. If he backs up his words how I think he can, Froch will be in trouble.

Froch is a boxer bro not a pressure fighter..He fought putting pressure against fighters like Taylor and Dirrell because they had the reach advantage and speed advantage(he had to make thos fights ugly)...Ward does not have that advantage(reach)it won't be smart for Froch to be the pressure fighter in this fight..

I think Froch has a decent chance. IF he can decypher what went wrong in the first 3 rounds of the Johnson fight.

If Ward mimics what Johnson did, He won't gas out after 3 rounds.

Ward will win by boring UD. He knows how to box, how to fight dirty, and never gets ruffled. Froch's best chance is to try to make it a war and go balls to the wall all out attack IMO.

I think after Ward beats Froch and Bute, he'll move up (there won't be anyone left to beat at SMW) to fight the winner of Dawson/Hopkins (likely Dawson at this stage.) Andre won't see his first defeat until he faces Dawson.

No home town decisions for Froch and I really believe that it will be an easy win for Ward. By the way I stopped at a Barnes & Nobel book store today and they no longer sell any boxing magazines, not even The Ring. And that is pretty sad news for the sport.
