Does floyd even need a trainer? (Roger)

All Roger ever says is 'box that mother****er!' and ellorbe (whatever his name is) repeats him.
They admit they don't prepare any strategy for fights as floyd is so defensively good and intelligent to adapt to each fighter..
So what is rogers roll in all this??
Maybe to hold the pads..

I think floyd should increase his legacy by being the first big time fighter to step into the ring without a trainer and still win!

When he goes back to his corner he can just listen to his iPod or something...
