Alex Ariza, the strength and conditioning coach of WBA 140-pound champion Amir Khan, took heavy offense when he was informed of the recent comments that were made by trainer Roger Mayweather. During a recent interview with BoxingScene.com's Chris Robinson, Mayweather accused Khan of being on steroids. For several years, the trainer of Floyd Mayweather Jr. has made the same claims about Manny Pacquiao. Both Khan and Pacquiao are handled by Ariza and trainer Freddie Roach.

I will believe the fighters Ariza works with are clean when they submit to testing and pass based on their lead fighter (Manny Pacroid). I believe everybody in their camp is following that blueprint. None are great fighters, all are covered in controversy. Manny's fighting fighters coming off losses and unwilling to submit to OST, Khan really loss to Maidana but due to a payed off referee got the decision and Chavez is so big a joke that it's not even funny anymore. All are very easy to hit and pretty predictable. It's their durability that gets them through their part of the cleverly matched fights. The thing about it is Manny and Con have been KO'd at lower weights. There's definitely some funny business going on in those shakes their drinking.

Fair enough you don't need to finish highschool to be a boxer/trainer. A person is clean unless proven guilty therefore, roger mayweather has no right to accuse any fighters. Floyd was taught at a very young age by his father how to fight, Roger doesn't teach him new material but just gets floyd sharp on the mitts. He doesn't implement a gameplan for floyd either, as floyd has said he goes in the ring without one but adapts to any situation put in front of him. To be fair, you could pretty much put any trainer with floyd and he'll still be the same, he's learned all his trade in boxing and all he needs is to get in fighting condition.

Your analogy about the test and failing isn't the same in the case for random blood testing. As every boxer is tested by the boxing commision and manny has done plenty of tests and never failed. The "Random" testing is like being forced to do extra curricular activities outside school, which is OPTIONAL for any student.

That's true in the court of law. In the court of public opinion, perception is reality. With all the cheaters that get caught in all the sports today, everyone should be su****ious of every athlete. Especially, if the athletes are only subjected to urine test. It goes well beyond Floyd Vs Pac. Given the cheating culture in sports today, athletes have for forfeited the right to be given the benefit of the doubt.

He didn't call them steroids, he was drawing a distinction. Those men you mentioned don't carry themselves like buffoons. Roger Mayweather is a walking, breathing stereotype who's proud to perpetuate ignorance. The guy is a class A moron.

Roger "trained" the female fighter Melissa St. Vil. LMFAO. The guy is almost illiterate and is quite a clown but you have to love it. In a world of canned statements and being PC, I love RM. Remeber when he trained Rahman for one fight and Hasim stuggled with some bum.
