Could be that, but I doubt it. More likely he sees his next opponent's fan base in his backyard and he figures he can start promoting early. Khan has pretty much let the cat out of the bag about him being Floyd's next opponent in England. That has been Floyd's target since the 'vacation' ended, he even shouted out British fans randomly (seemingly at the time) when he announced his return.

Wouldn't be surprised if he made the announcement that he wants to fight in the UK next year to get the buzz started.

What would be wrong with this? If Khan is willing to step to the plate and sign the contract, then the fight should happen.

Where did I say there's anything wrong with it?

You're getting wound up over nothing, getting defensive over shadows in your mind. Take it easy.

I actually think it'll be a decent scrap. Khan will be catching Floyd at the perfect time- 35 going on 36, insanely inactive, with his speed/reflexes naturally diminished and Khan being young, speedy, with a great jab and a trainer who's gameplan (with an Oscar who couldn't pull the trigger) made for the most competitive fight in recent years for Money.

No problem with me, just keeping it real. It's transparent what he's doing is all I'm saying.

It would be a good scrap. Lets see what he does against Judah, who I think has been looking sharp again, and then we will see what happens.

If Floyd loses to Ortiz, that f's everything up.

Don't think Ortiz can't catch him. He comes from odd angles and hits with speed and power. This kid is dangerous.

Floyd has stated many times how much he loves his UK fans. This is a good look.

good and easy move by floyd to get more attention on him. mayweather/khan would be likely to happen if the mayweather/pacquiao negotiations fall through again

this is just an example of floyd's business mind at work. but just as much, his ego. a big fight, khan, british fans, all in his backyard in vegas? floyd just couldn't let them have all the shine! and with the upcoming ortiz bout, a potential bout with khan forthcoming and the need to clear up roger's f-ck up from yesterday, it makes business sense as well.
