    if wlad doesnt fight thompson-chambers winner

    Probably, yes. But it won't be for awhile.

    Since he's already unified the belts, if he drops the IBF belt it won't mean much.

      It would be the right move to give up the belt
      No need for a rematch with either let the winner fight Helenius who's #3
      and then if he wins there's a possible opponent down the road.

        I think he should take the fight. There are so few good contenders available for him to fight anyway, and the Thompson-Chambers winner is a more credible opponent than most of the alternatives (and far more credible than the Chisora-Fury winner, which he has expressed interest in), so given that he wants to keep busy, why not take it? Seems to me a silly fight to make a stand and lose a belt over.

          If Wlad can persuade the IBF to make the Thompson-Chambers winner fight Helenius first, with Wlad fighting the winner of that fight, that would be better. But if he can't persuade them, it seems to me a silly fight for Wlad to lose a belt over. I think both Thompson and Chambers are probably better than Helenius in any case.
