Coming off a knock-out tune-up victory over Likar Ramos - a knock-out many of my readers questioned - Juan Manuel Marquez will take fifteen days rest before starting to prepare for a November rematch with Manny Pacquiao.
Marquez, of Mexico City, sent a stern warning to the Filipino Pound for Pound King.
"Pacquiao better come prepared like never before," said Marquez. "I will come prepared and it is a fight for everyone to enjoy, especially for the Mexican fans."
Marquez owns a draw over Manny Pacquiao in 2004, and a 2008 split-decision defeat.
While the sports books have Pacquiao as a clear favorite to defeat the 38-year old Marquez, this did not keep the Mexican's trainer Ignacio "Nacho" Beristain from stating that the third fight might be an easy win for his pupil.
Marquez, and Beristain, might be stirring up a hornets nest for their November showdown with boxing's most dangerous man.
Can't wait to see this fight!
