Under 8 weeks from the fight, when does Mayweather start camp?

Does he increase the likelihood of injury if he has a short camp after a long layoff? i.e. Trying to do too much in too little time?

I don't think he has trained since the Mosley fight. But didn't PBF say in recent video at a press conference for PBF vs Ortiz that he was already doing road work. So IMO a fight like PBF doesn't need all that extra boxing time that he would need to do more boxing related work for longer than 2 months.

I guess technically he is right...I was basing it off of 4 weeks per month, but there are 31 days in both July and August, so that's an extra week in there. If you count fight week it's 9 weeks. I wouldn't think he would train that much on fight week though.
