I personally scored Castillo/Casamayor 116-112 for JLC. I am not biased to say the least.

Casa landed the better counterpunches, was more accurate....but took entirely too many shots in the mid to late rounds.

Joel would land a counter punch....make a nifty little foot shuffle....and continue to run away.

I also think the judges were not scoring all the body punches Castillo landed.....which almost ALWAYS go unnoticed.

but most of the fight he RAN...

then when he comes to fight he would almost get KTFO..

By the end of the fight, Castillo and his meatgrinding tactics almost had Casamayor KO'd in the end! If it was a 15th rounder, Castillo by TKO 14....

Castillo beat the **** out of Casamayor every second that he actually fought, the rest of the fight he just ran...

Diego is right. Every fighter must fulfill the minimum set of obligations incumbent upon them. One of them is fulfilling your end of the bargain by making weight.

Castillo had 5 months to prepare and now he can't make weight. This is either blatant circumvention or that Castillo isn't proffessional enough to fulfill his end of the bargain.

If Corrales wins tomorrow, he will get double credit for beating a fighter who didn't make weight. Weigh-ins are there for a reason. To set the minimum rules of boxing. If Castillo wins, he will get very little credit. They will say Castillo's been asking for a rematch, which Corrales promptly gave in kind, but Castillo isn't professional enough to fulfill his own obligation of making weight.

Correction:

The fight means nothing if Castillo WINS.

If Corrales wins, however, especially by KO, we'll probably be witnessing the end of Castillo as a fighter.

If castillo wins, there might be a 3rd fight
