You can't have an informed opinion if you didn't watch the whole fight.

It was a close fight and every round matters.

go watch the fight on Youtube and comeback.

That like me making a thread on Gatti-Ward I and saying Gatti should have won while only watching the last three rounds.

I had it a draw but i know the majority of people gave Cotto the benefit of the doubt.

cotto won it, first couple of rds with the power jab, then Mosley came back a little, and Cotto fought back hard and pulled the fight towards him. close but clear decision like Jim Lampley said.

one of the best fights of Cotto, i loved it!

CompuBox shouldn't be the end all be all. Boxing is judged on a round by round basis. Numbers could easily be skewed if one fighter wins all his rounds big while the other wins more competitive rounds.

If a fighters lands a lot of punches in one round you cannot take the whole total and divided equally on a 12 round fight. It doesn't work that way.

It goes in how a fighter controls the round. Compu box is a good indicator but it is not a deciding factor.

Watch Withaker vs Cardona, Cardona threw over 1000 punches in that fight and Pernell still controlled the fight

It was a close fight that Cotto won. I scored it 8-4, but I could see a 7-5 win for Cotto. Cotto controlled most of the fight and controlled Shane. SSM had moments towards the end while Cotto was doing a little DLH, because he bagged the first half of the fight.

I enjoyed the fight and ultimately, it was the last time we saw SSM being great in the ring.

**Note, I realize he KOd Margs, however can we all agree that Margs wasn't 100% into the game mentally before getting his ass kicked...he was ripe for the picking**

Cotto won a close fight. Controlled the pace for the majority of the fight and landed the more significant shots. When a fight is that close, you have to look at other intangibles than just numbers and Cotto's shots seem to be more noticeably effective which obviously the judges saw.
