Agree. This will be one sided. Floyd knows Vic is trying too hard to push this new "persona", but I've seen him quit in the ring. This is not Vic's character to be so brash. He is probably being pushed to act like this to keep the promotion up and to make people think he actually has a chance. While Floyd is being told to tone it down a bit to make people think he is fading and that way they'll all buy the PPVs. Ortiz is a 7 to 1 underdog for a reason. Don't buy this PPV b/c then Floyd will tell Pac he wants more Rev for the fight and ***** out. Boycott this fight. Pay for the Manny fight. Then we'll watch Floyd-Pac 2012 in May. Easy as that. Ok kids!?!?

I agree on the HBO commentators. The exception being Gus Johnson for Showtime. That guy does an amazing job at every sport he covers!

Think they should bring Roy on to the PPV cards and get Steward out of there as well.

it seems like Ortiz may finally have that Confidence back that nobody can beat him...its a good thing because hes gonna need every ounce of it. Floyd always discourages guys in his fights, so Ortiz is gonna have to be at maximum confidence to stand a chance.

It was just a clip, but clearly, Ortiz isn't down with Floyd's contrived, old sayings. Floyd doesn't meet Ortiz's eyes and is looking old- lines, wrinkles, dull.

people saying floyd is looking "down" if you notice it's because ortiz is talking about his ring and from the profile shot you can see ortiz is emphasizing his ring and tapping it with his finger so when it cuts to floyd's face he's looking down at ortiz's ring DUH. dumbarses

Agreed. Roy does a better job than Steward. I also think Larry Merchant needs to hang 'em up. Lennox did a pretty good job, IMO.

Floyd has a look like he's tolerating a rude child. Ortiz looks scared to me. He's trying to talk through it but its not working. Its the same kinda thing like in the Berto face offs when he was trying to appear tougher but he wasnt comfortable until a coupe rounds into the fight. He will have to have a moment in the fight to really feel like he belongs in the same ring. If he doesnt get that moment early then he will wither. It's gonna be a lot harder with Floyd than it was with Berto.
