A judge in Argentina has granted former world champion Jorge Rodrigo "Hyena" Barrios permission to fight outside of the country. Oral Criminal Court in Mar del Plata gave him permission to leave the country between August 25 and September 19. Last year's scheduled fight with Erik Morales was cancelled because Barrios was unable to leave Argentina.
