    Former welterweight champion Carlos "Tata" Baldomir is continuing his comeback, and scored another unanimous decision victory over tough Uruguayan Ruben Silva Diaz in a middleweight bout held at the Stadium Centre in Cordoba, Argentina. The scores were 100-89.5, 100-88.5 and 100-92.5 [scoring on a half point system]. Baldomir came close to stopping Silva in the fifth round of the bout. Baldomir raised his record to 48-13-6 with 14 KOs, while Diaz Silva drops to 37-21-4, 20 KOs. Baldomir wins his third straight since last year's knockout loss to Saul Alvarez.

        Obviously, Argentina. England still??? Years ago England , ready for this, used a 5 point must system w/1/2 pont rounds...can you imagine this today w/so many incompetent officials floating around???

          Love Baldo but wish he'd retire before he gets seriously hurt. These kind of nothing fights in Argentina are OK, but I would hate to see him become a name on some up-and-coming puncher's record.

              yeah, i agree. good for him still making a living out of boxing and getting wins. just as long he doesn't become an easy ko stepping stone for younger guys, everything should be good.
