Initially I slated Khans move to primetime however what they have done for the Judah fight has now totally switched my opinion on them.
I think primetime is much better in every area apart from 2.
Sky is better in 2 areas:
1) Marketing- Sky has a much bigger marketing budget and therefore can reach out to more people. Primetime can't reach out to as many non-boxing fans but then again which boxing fan (or even Khan fan) doesn't know when Khans next fight is as it is well documented over the internet, newspapers and twitter.
2) Fight night commentary - Primetime's commentary staff are clearly not as good as sky's team, but then again all i want to see is the fight and i have my own eyes and dont really mind the weak commentary.
However when it comes to fight week primetime is superior by 100 times. Sky tend to show the one 30 second fight advert on repeat whereas primetime will be showing 2 "build up" episodes to the fight aswell as numerous khan and judah fights. In addition to this the will be showing various other Classic fights. Primetime (From today) will be showing:
1) Khan – The Road To Vegas
2) Khan – The Road To Vegas
3) Mayweather vs De La Hoya
4) Mosely vs Margarito
5) Pacquiao vs Barrera
6) Khan vs Malignaggi
7) Khan vs McCloskey
8) Judah vs Matthysse
They will be showing this continuosly over the next week on FREEVIEW and to me that is absolute gold!
