When he was at 140 looked to be in his prime. Still fast as a whip, had power to hurt you and his mind was sharp. That, I believe, was his prime of primes.

I actually can't answer that question.

Mayweather has looked so good for so long now.

Floyd's prime is the trickiest question in boxing. There is no doubt that his best divison was 130. Its his 1st and he was mad dominant. His pime in terms of his mind is basically now. He knows how to do everything. His prime in terms of age/skill was probably somewhere between late N'Dou & Hatton but the problem with the WW part and some of the 140 part is that he was fighting out of division so he didnt always maybe look as great as he shouldve.

He chased the Oscar fight which forced him to skip up divisins but in reality he couldve stayed at LW for many more years and he should have. He wouldve looked mad dominant and been in his prime. The same goes for 140. He shouldve stayed there for many more years. He wouldve looked mad dominant and been in his prime.

Instead he kept moving up even when he wasnt that big for the weight he just left at. He came into the ring at 138 pounds for LW fights, 143 for SLW fights, and 148 for his early WW fights. That means he shouldnt have really been there for the most part. If he wouldve stayed where he shouldve been then you really wouldve seen versions of Floyd that looked unstoppable

                    1. Floyd became a better fighter the night he fought Genaro Hernandez. It was like a light switch went on.

Since then he has been in his prime.....

Floyd isnt in his prime anymore. No way. Sure he hasnt dropped off much at all, but his legs arent what they once were. Its alright though, because Pac is past his prime as well. So no excuses when they fight.
