Mexico's Fernando Castaņeda knocked out Colombian Fidel Monterroza to capture the World Youth Welterweight Championship (WBC) at the Lobo Dome of Mazatlan, Sinaloa. Three authentic left hand missiles left the Colombian boxer lying on the canvas in the eighth round. Castaneda wins the first title in his promising career. Castaneda raised his record to 16 wins (10 KOs) and 4 setbacks. And Monterroza falls to 26 wins (23 KOs) and 4 defeats.
