Cotto did...... and he was later dismantled. The only way I see JMM beating Pac is by KO. And that is not going to happen. Reason being is that with the possibility of the Floyd fight right around the corner after the Marquez fight I just don't see the judges giving it to JMM if it gets to that.
Can JMM hang with Pac with Pac's added weight? I think he can. People keep saying that Pac has improved since then but based on what? Every opponent that Pac has faced since JMM has not been a counter puncher. Sure they were bigger and stonger than Pac but they would either try to slug it out or try to box while standing or run. None of them tried to counter punch at all.
JMM is going to give Pac a pretty good fight is what I'm trying to say. But I just don't think he's going to win. I think Pac beats him by decision again.Comment

After tonight I wonder if they will let the "brave mexican warrior" Marquez go the distance or if they will be ordering him to lay down in the early rounds zzzzzzz

If you actually believe that all of Pac's fights since JMM II have been fixed (not just in the stacked deck kind of way)...wouldn't it be damn funny if JMM straight up took to Pac like he hasn't seen in years?
Pacman he so strong he get hit 10 time and tap his head and he ok...if JMM can get Pac to start blocking his punches with his face again, it could be a decision for him...it would still end up a Williams-Lara robbery for Pac though.Comment

Not to the extent that JMM does. His whole stategy against Pac from the first and second fight was to try and counter punch from the get go. Cotto tried to stand his ground and did enjoy some success a little early. Afterwards he was just in full retreat mode trying to survive. JMM might retreat some but he'll be counterpunching the whole way.Comment

Until Marquez Gets Knocked Out Inside 6 Rounds!
Marquez will find out rather quickly, this is not the same Pacquiao he fought back in the day, during Marquez' prime. Now Pacquiao is bigger, stronger, in his own prime, and with the Freddie Roach factor in place. What has Matquez done since his last encounter with Manny? He's gotten older, gone up in weight, looked much less dominant than he was 4, 5, 6 years ago, and got pushed around, knocked down, by a much larger, soft hitter with a weak chin, in Floyd Mayweather. Marquez is in for a rude awakening. Pacquiao has been dismantling guys much larger than him at 140, guys that walk around at 155-160. Marquez IS going to feel old for the first time, before us all, on the night Pacquiao beats Marquez to a pulp. We will soon after forget about their two first epic fights, from several years ago. This fight will make it more clear than ever, why Runaway Floyd refuses to fight Manny Pacquiao.Comment

Floyd is down to fight, but your boy Pacquiao doesn't want to take the test. And thinks USADA is not a neutral testing agency even though WADA says they are the best ones to go to for this situation.
