If you want to talk about fixed fights, talk about the way matchmakers make fights in which they know 100% who the winner will be. This was one of those fights. Dive? Sorry, no. Unless you consider a guy quitting a dive. No let me rephrase that. A guy who was in a fight merely for a paycheck quitting.

And do you guys not realize Ramos is actually a 130 pounder? What, you can't even boxrec the guy? This bullsh.it about showing that JMM can carry his weight to 140 is just that, bullsh.it. Ramos is a 130 pounder. They matched him up against a bum, and they got a bum result. All of you conspiracy theorists should get laid or something, or do something to find a better use for your time.

All i kno is that Marquez caught him with a clean right to the chin which snapped dudes head back. Was it fixed? I don't know. I don't see the point but whatever.. I could say the fights against Manny where Marquez lost were fixed too! maybe cause Manny was more marketable who knows.. anyways Go Marquez!!

Or how about Rahman vs Lewis I, Ali vs Spinks I, Klitscho vs Sanders, Jones vs Tarver II.....
I think you get the point. Crazier things have happen in the history of boxing where the favorite was suppose to win but things didn't work out that way. What better way to make sure there aren't any suprises than pay the man that's suppose to lose so he can lose as planned.

We are on a thread about Marquez and all you can talk about is Pacman? Guess the sarcasm of my stories went over you're head. I'll indulge your little conspiracy theories and respond: Just watched the middle rounds of Pac vs Clottey and I'm assuming you're claiming the 6th round as the supposed "fix" that was obvious.
From the 2:18 mark for all of 15 seconds Clottey had Pac on the ropes. He did not pin him against the ropes with a relentless attack, he was not hurting Pac or doing any damage and he was certainly not hitting Pac at will.
When Pac backed up to the ropes on his own, Clottey threw a 4-5 punch combo that probably landed 1 clean shot, Pac tapped his gloves, Clottey threw a glancing right that didn't land flush, threw a glancing left that didn't land flush and that was it.
What instincts did Clottey ignore? Clottey has never displayed KO power in competitive fights. He has never shown the killer instinct to hurt or try to take a fighter out. Clottey has always clammed up against his stiffest comp. Pac, Cotto, Margarito, Judah and Corrales all made it to the final bell.
If you actually watched boxing you would understand Clottey's style. He has always been known for his shell defense, fast hands and losing against top competition because he doesn't let his hands go. Yes, he timed Pac a bit in that fight and landed clean, but, his nature in not to be the aggressor. He did not have faster hands than Pac and did not want to open up.
Let Pac off the ropes? You're joking right? Now that I'm done stooping to your ridiculous levels of ******ity I think I'll go **** my head against a wall. Thanks again.
You make out like Clottey was so inept that he could barely remember how to throw a punch. If he was that bad, then why was Pacquiao fighting him?
1.) " I don't know how to explain..... "
2.) " I really don't understand what happened to me in that fight..... "
3.) " I just think it was one of those things..... "
4.) " I don't know what happened..... "
5.) " I knew I could hurt him when I threw my power shots..... "
6.) " I didn't feel like his punches really hurt me..... "
7.) " I felt OK after..... "
8.) " there are so many reasons the fight happened the way it did..... "
