yea people don't go to sleep when they get hit by a straight hand..the only time they would go to sleep by a straight hand is when they hit their head on the floor..but that only happens if you fight in the street.

The hook and the upper cut are the only punches which would get you knocked out..your brain needs to touch the skull that's what creates the KO.
