Super featherweight: world champion Marco Antonio Barrera of Mexico is in a voluntary period. The fight between No. 1 ranked Erik Morales of Mexico and No. 2 ranked Manny Pacquiao of the Philippines was approved as a final eliminator.


I wonder if Barrera will opt to fight the winner if it means giving up his title?

Pacman will beat Morales, he looks sharp. His right hand is stating to show, and he has no distractions. Not saying its an excuse but he slept on the floor, had blood work done the day before, did not get to use his gloves,(it may not matter but mentally it does) All pac has to do is work the body he hurt Morales in the first round with body punching and if he goes after him like that more he will eventually put him down.

This would be by far the happiest day of my life if I was to see them fight again, and to see Morales get his title back would just be amazing. I really hope to see this in summer of 2006.

It has been a wonderful trilogy but I just am not all that interested in Barerra/Morales 4, its not the world series.

2. Morales will be wearing his ******y ass gloves Winning (aside from Folyd #1, who else managed to stop sumone using these gloves?)

3. Manila Ice. It's near perfection!!! 2 months training should seal ta deal. It's quicker, it's slicker, and it's mo deadlier.

4. The weight, It's all settling in. Morales himself was greeted by difficulty when he 1st stepped up gainst Jesus Chavez at 130lbs. And to think Chavez fought wit 1 arm! nyahahahaha! Pac's 3rd fight now at 130lbs and Morales betta be in best shape.
