You have a great point. but dont you think it is much more dangerous for PBF if he tries to beat him to the punch. Surely some Left hook or Right cross wont land clean. But KT is like a rabid animal there's a big chance that he can land a big one on those 12 rounds.

If PBF will win i was thinking it would be like A SRL victory over Hagler ( If you gave that fight to Leonard )

Mayweather is a great boxer but he is not going to beat Tszyu. People credit floyd with majestic boxing skills and seem to think he can beat any1 by simply boxing them and being his defensive self. But people forget that weight is a big issue. To think that Mayweather is just going to stroll up to 140 and beat the king is unlikely.

Tszyu himself is an excellent boxer. Back in the amatuer days, he had a record of something like 260-15. And he schooled Forrest in the world champs. Against Mayweather, all Kosta has to do is keep constant pressure and without being countered much and sooner or later he will catch up and either KO floyd or dominate the later rounds on route to a UD. I say UD, because although many feel Tszyu is a monstrous power, i feel that is not exactly true. He is a big puncher, but he knocks his opponents out because his right cross is quick and accurate. I feel people underrate Tszyu's speed hardcore. He is not a big combination puncher like the slick black boxers we see, but his one punch speed is vastly underrated, just ask Sharmba.

He did TKO Leija, burst his eardrum and made him quit. Zoo boxed cricles around Takie just to prove he could IMO. Against Urkal he boxed and mixed power with speed and won decisively...something that is hard to do against Urkal, exspecially back then.

Your doing what most of opponents of Zoo never seem to learn. Your assuming that he is slow and can't mix it up with someone who moves well. And your assuming that he can't box....wrong, he has excellent boxing skills that are often overlooked because of his power. These assumptions been proven wrong time and time again.

This is a 50/50 fight in my eyes. Mayweather bar none has the absolute best skills in boxing right now. But he lacks power. There isn't much for his opponents to worry about offencively. I think this is the opening for Zoo's chances to win. Mayweather easily beats most others, but against Zoo he has to contend that he is in with a patient puncher who can box and will not be afraid to throw.

Either way, this will be a great fight if it happens.

The result could be both ways, If KT catches FM with a solid punch that can slow him down then KT STOPS FM. But if he doesn't FM can dance the whole night and get a decision.

              Amen to that!
KT has excellent skills plus excellent reflexes/eyes
against Mitchell raw power and timing were enough, but if he had to mix it up he would overwhelm the pretty boy by his size and punch efficiency.

Mayweather's chin hasnt been up to a good test,Castillo hits hard but he is no K.T., K.T. will be a good test for him,if Mayweather can take his punches then I can see a UD win over K.T. but since Kostya has great power, the whole fight will keep me on the edge of my seat

I say let mayweather fight S.Mitchell first then K.T. if he wins

I said this in my last post

"You stated that Mayweather is too small for 147 and Kostya isnt when PBF is 5'8" with a 72" reach, while K.T. is 5'7" with a 67" reach, PBF has 32w 21ko's 0 lost and 0 draws
                    and
                    K.T. has 31W 25ko's 1 lost 0 draws

Basically PBF will be the bigger man and has great skills, he has shown it over and over again in the ring, look what he did to Corrales. I know Corrales is no K.T. but hell he was at the top pf his game.

As a puncher....I firmly believe Kostya Tszyu IS NOT as big a puncher as the 130lb Diego Corrales who fought Mayweather.

But....Tszyu is BETTER than Corrales. He's bigger also, & up at these higher weights, Mayweather has become more hittable.

Mayweather would have to be as "on" for Tszyu as he was for Corrales.
I don't know if that's possible for Floyd at this point.
