After being asked to fight Bute or Hopkins, Martinez responded

For the record, I don't blame Pacquiao for not wanting to fight Martinez do to his size either, but I would still like to see it happen.
Your just another typical fanboy with terms like '*******' and '*****'. I don't use these terms and don't like to argue with fanboys who use these terms.
Anyways your midpoint calculation is useless. The fact is that Sergio's natural fighitng weight is 154 (as he has stated himsself) so if anything, the midpoint is 150.
As far as martinez fighting the biggger guys is concerned, there's an interview of him with Smitty (in this corner guy) in which he says that people telling him to fight the 168 guys frustrates him as they are too big and he is a natural 154 fighter. Look it up! (I think it is a small segment in the recent boxing hall of fame interviews of in this corner).
NOw Flyod vs Martinez is a fight that should be talked about as Flyod has already fought at 154. Now that would be a good fight!

So according to your logic, Ricky Hatton should've never fought PAC, Ricky Hatton walks around at 200 pounds.

      You failed!!!

Boxing fans expects more from Pacman than Floyd. It's a boring fight if Pacman reached 12 dominating rounds but if Floyd reached a decision by running away and making some points, it's an excellent performance. ..

Floyd will always be beneath Pacman.

No, you failed to comprehend reality. Martinez shows up on fight night a rock solid, well conditioned 170 pounds. Manny shows up at 150. That's a 20 pound weight disparity at the moment of them actually fighting each other. Try to keep up.

Hatton showed up to training camp at 200 pounds, because while he was an exciting fighter, he was not a well disciplined athlete. Back when the 24/7 ep's were airing Ricky boasting that unlike Manny, who was training for 8 weeks, Ricky trained for TWELVE!!!! Yeah, but at least half of that was to try to work off the mound of Shephard's pie and gravy in front of his massive gut. The rest was spent of boxing technique. Ricky at 200 pounds would have gotten his ass kicked by a 170 pounds Martinez, or a 150 pound Pacquiao. You might not be able to grasp that, but that doesn't stop it from being a fact.

Why didn't he just fight Margarito at WW? The simple fact is that Martinez is too dangerous for Bob Arum to let any of his fighters in with, let alone his cash cow Pacquiao. Pacquiao-Martinez at 154 isn't as ridiculous a fight as some *******s would have people believe, same with Mayweather-Martinez, both have fought at LMW so can't complain about about questions regarding them facing a fellow LMW titlist.
based on ur logic pac who barely makes 147 when he fights at WW can fight at 154...yet martinez is too small for ward, bute and froch????

If Lewcowicz really thinks that Sergio Martinez is a good fighter...he should challenge boxers of same size or bigger. If you will be challenging smaller fighters then people will just say that you are ******. Do you understand that?

I feel u on the title but that whole line about sergio being too dangerous is disingenuous. The only reason martinez is "too dangerous " is the 20-30 pound weight advantage he would have in the ring. That's why the fight will never come off, I find it kind of silly people talk about this like it could/should happen. These aren't heavy weights. Name one welter in the world who s eager to give up 25 pounds in the ring. If sergio is the "same size as cheato" then come down to 150. If he "can't" then the same size argument is void. As I said before, sergio needs to start looking up and not down. Dude is a middle weight, pac is barely a welter, end of discussion.

LOL, Dude owned Roach brutally. "If Roach doesn't respect Martinez's abilities, then bring the best guy in your stable, Pacquiao, then we can talk" - Samson Lewkowicz.
