there is no excuse for quitting specially when you only have 2 rounds to go and when your fighting a guy so much smaller than you.

you really think byrd would have even been aggressvie? say he was its byrd vitali could have defintiely taken whatever he was going to dish out.

all this "smart and lives to fight another day **** is a crock"

you go out winning or out on your back by ko or losing a decision, not by quitting in a fight.

before you say tyson quit, let me correct you it was fenech who stopped the fight and tyson wasnt arguing or anything but he definitely would have gone out there and just got knocked out just like the lewis fight when he didnt want to continue but he did.

ali didnt want to continue against liston but he did.

How THE **** can you compare Ali asking for his gloves to be cut off when he was CHEMICALLY BLINDED in a fight against one of the most dangerous fighters of all time with Mike Tyson agreeing to sit down against Kevin ****ing McBride?

Jesus Christ boy, don't make yourself out to be too much of a joke, will you?

first off i never said it was on the same level as ali wanting to stop.

i was just metnioning times where fighters wanted to quit but didnt.

my point is klitschko flat out quit and i knew the idiot klit fan would make some tyson reference against mcbride since i attacked his boy friend.

thats why i said all that.

Tyson has quit in every single fight since etienne. youre a ****** ass if there ever was one.

that is also ******ed is your inference that the size of the fighters matters when it comes to quitting. you make it sound like its alright to quit against a bigger opponent and completely wrong against a smaller one. just once again showing how dumb you can be.

vitali klitshcko is the champ of the world, he wouldve killed prime tyson, and every single fighter with the exception of james toney is afraid to fight him. id say he was right to quit, and you are wrong for talking like you know anything about the specifics of what happened

so what if he was beating him, he could have finished the fight (which he only had 2 more rounds to go) and got the decision which makes it even more pathetic like tszyu quitting before the 12th.
wat the hell would be the pount, byrd sux ass in all his fight and gets beat but still gets decision wins???
Byrd sux ass and will get blasted by either of the Klitschkos...

oh please. and let me guess,,,,,tyson only bit holy's ears because he was hungry? lol. tyson folded everytime someone he was confronted by someone and he quit in the mcbride fight. he didnt even wanna get off the canvas until the ref finally convinced him. vitali did the right thing. he had a serious injury and knew it was the best choice

i don't want to sound like an *******, but it sounds like tysonp4pbestforever has never fought or been in the ring before. because 90% of boxers and martial artists give at least some respect to other fighters.

and dissing tszyu and klitschko, 2 of the classiest fighters, will not get you much respect in the fighting community.

lol. it wouldn't surprise me beez.

i've starting my martial arts training about ten years ago, and i can say that there is usually mutual respect for other fighters.

in the fan community though, it does seem much different.
