It's a wonder Hearns Jr. was even being considered. He was KO'd in his last fihgt against Felix Sturm...

It's going to be so hard for JCC jr to hang on to that belt.

There are an awful lot of guys better than him.

No, it's obvious why he was being considered: for his name. So it can be marketed as Chavez Jr vs Hearns Jr. It also doesn't hurt that he's not very good.

chavez career is a cartoon. hrey are trying to fight hearns off a loss.i'm trying my best to support jr but top rank is making money with him while his career is a big joke.

so if he fights ishida, he will still fight manfredo afterwards? what happened to the WBC's rule on one voluntary defense and then a mandatory match against martinez? bull crap like always i see...either way, martinez better fight rubio or geale, someone worth mentioning after barker. hopefully ishida beats chavez, i think he's capable of it.

Maybe I am confused. Isn't hearns a terrible fighter who just lost terribly in Germany. almost an embarrassment in boxing. How in the hell is a chump like Hearns with little skill or ability no amateur career involved in title talk or title fights. How far is boxing scraping the barrell's bottom to find no talent's like Hearns???Amazing but yet funny.

Manfredo? Hearns? Iishi? WTF? Rubio vs Lemiux was supposed to be a WBC title eliminater. Now the corrupt WBC lets Chavez jr fight these undeserving guys? Suliman and the WbC let Chavez and Alvarez avoid serious competition and want us to believe these guys are "World Champions".
