    WBA junior welterweight champion Amir Khan is already planning the remainder of his career. The British star is taking the first step of his "four year" strategy by facing IBF champion Zab Judah in a unification bout on July 23 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Khan wants to retire by age 28.

                Nobody wants to create a legacy nowadays, they all just want to get the money and leave without getting hurt.

                It's a smart move for the fighters but for boxing as a sport and for the fans it's dissapointing.

                  Aye, Also why do they have to tell us? Half teh time they don't actual retire like they planned anyway. Sometimes they even lose on teh scorecards because judges seem to go with teh fighters who isn't planning to retire after teh fight, cause teh win will do more for their careers. Might as well act like you'll never retire, and just retire out of teh blue imo.
