Khan "I will be a better fighter at 147"

Khan was certainly better than Ortiz at 140. Khan also kicked Kotelniks ass, that was a great win. I think khan is the best 140 pounder and that he'd beat Ortiz at 147.

But he'd still lose to both PAC and Floyd. He might look good against both for a while, but he'd probably get koed by PAC and Floyd would just tire him out and beat him up in the second half.

And Khan will have to beat a Zab probably on peds, now that he is working with Conte. That fight by no means is a given.

Berto is better than Maidana. Berto would box circles around him. Styles make fights, I would have Berto by TKO over Maidana or easy UD. Maidana has nothing to bother Berto. This is the same guy who made Corley and Morales look rejuvenated, imagine how he would make Berto look? Sure bring up the Ortiz fight, the truth is, Maidana doesn't beat current Ortiz at 147. Ortiz grew way too big since then and has become a better and smarter boxer.

People are way overrating Ortizs skills and technique. And he has not improved as a boxer. He still has no jab, and little technique. And the guy couldn't use his feet to get out of Maidanas way when needed.

And Lamount Peterson outboxed the **** out of him in the second half of their fight.

He has decent boxing skills, but he is a great athlete, very strong and fast. And he is huge, he rehydrated to a big size even for 147.

But anyone who doesn't work of their jab will get their ass kicked by Floyd. Ortiz has very little chance to beat Floyd.

Collazo and Quintana are both better fighters than Maidana. In fact both of them beat Maidana. The Quintana that Berto knocked out, beats Maidana. Actually Maidana makes Quintana look like he's back to being a good fighter. Collazo easily beats Maidana.

Maidana has fought a lot tougher guys than Berto? Like who. Khan is not that much tougher than Berto, and at 147 we're talking about a whole different weight class here. Kotelnik, Cayo, Corley, old Morales, these guys are better than Collazo and Quintana? Come on man.

It's not about beating Floyd though, is that Ortiz at 147 now beats Maidana. If he could knock down Maidana when he was only what, 22 years old? Knocked him down 3 times. He was only a kid in the Maidana war and you saw how badly he hurt Maidana, but props to Maidana for standing up and getting the stoppage. Still, 2 years have passed, Ortiz has become bigger and better, now he probably knocks Maidana out for good, i'm telling you.

Berto couldn't KO Urango whom Alexander did.
He arguably lost to Collazo, whom Hatton arguably beat.
Quitana is OK.

Maidana could certainly beat Berto, if Berto was laying inthe ropes, standing still and struggling with Ortiz's power, he would with Maidana's. Berto went toe to toe more it less and was eating shots. Perfect fight for Maidana who thrives on someone always being there to be hit.

Maidana also has a win over Ortiz and I would favour him in a rematch too.
